RAF A330 Voyager Air Refuels

Royal Air Force Airbus A330 Voyager while air refueling Eurofighter Typhoon and Panavia Tornado somewhere over UK's air space. The RAF A330 Voyager built based on Airbus A330-200. The aircraft also called Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), from its name completely clear that this aircraft is dedicated to be aerial refueling purpose.

The A330 Voyager has massive 111 tonnes fuel capacity and fuel transfer rate up to 1,800 kg of fuel per minute. Can you imagine that! So it won't take long time to get your tank fuel up. Moreover, as multi role tanker transport, this aircraft also able to carry cargo up to 43 tonnes and 4,500 nautical mile of flight range. Thanks to Rolls Royce Trent 772B Turbofans that produce total 144,000 lbs of thrust.

Currently, A330 Voyager operated by Royal Air Force of UK, Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Saudi Air Force, Republic of Singapore Air Force and United Arab Emirates Air Force. Anyway, this aircraft has total 10 crew on board, including two pilots.
